About mid-May this year, I was diagnosed with Acute Myloid Leukemia (AML). I recently began treatment and will update my progress as often as I can.

Mark passed away at home, early this morning, in the arms of his loving wife, Lola. He is now healed and in the arms of our everlasting God. We are grateful for the many years of joy and laughter that Mark brought to us and look forward to being with him and our God in heaven. Just as the sun came up this morning and shone brilliantly on the freshly fallen snow, we sense God's peace and strength shining brilliantly on us through the blanket of your prayers. Thank you all for your love and support at this difficult time.

Wednesday, January 5

Dear friends, family and co-workers,

The physicians at U of M hospital have determined there is nothing else they can do to heal Mark. He will be discharged today and return home with support from family and hospice. Your prayers and support are deeply appreciated!

Please keep Mark and Lola in your prayers. Mark took a fall Saturday last night and hit his head. The CT scan shows bleeding in his brain. He was given platelets to stop the bleeding. Treatment for Leukemia is again on hold. This is a very serious situation, so if you could uphold us all with prayer, it would be deeply appreiciated.
